Website Design & Research at UX Lab

Purpose/Objective: Redesign websites for the Libraries and the Law School at Texas Tech University to better connect existing students with resources and attract new students, respectively.

Goal(s): Design and research to create updated websites that provide content and experiences expected by prospective users.

Role(s): As the Assistant Director, I worked with the Director of the UX Lab to conduct UX design and research for websites. I was responsible for meeting with clients, reviewing internal data (e.g., webtrends and surveys) and interviewing prospective users, creating test plans, running UX studies, analyzing data, creating and presenting reports and recommendations to clients, and designing and testing work flows, information architecture, navigation, content, and experience.
