UX Research & Design for Intel Media Share

Purpose/Objective: Create a cross-platform app that enables secure media sharing across devices.

Goal(s): Media content should be easily shareable across devices - PC, tablet, phone, and TV’s/displays; Device pairing should be secure and simple to perform.

Role(s): I partnered with another human factors engineer to create a quant+qual survey to generate customer insights and expectations for device pairing approaches and security; We hired and further developed materials with an external agency that ultimately handled survey deployment to US and India geos; We analyzed results and generated rollouts with insights and design recommendations; Throughout the app design process, I developed test plans and conducted several rounds of UX testing, reviewed flows and prototypes with a UX architect, visual designer, and developers, and created new content, flows, and UI visual design specifications.
